Important Reminder: NJ TRANSIT service to the stadium is available only to FIFA World Cup 26™ match ticketholders. Tickets are limited (40,000 per Match-Day) and can ONLY be purchased in advance via the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App. 
Tickets will not be sold at stations 
or on-board trains.

Match-Day Pre-Event Information

  • Rail service from PSNY to Secaucus Junction begins a few hours before the scheduled match time. Exact service times will be shared closer to the tournament.
  • Before entering PSNY, match ticketholders must enter the queue on 31st Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, where their match ticket and NJ TRANSIT ticket will be inspected before boarding.
  • During ticket inspection, each match ticketholder will receive an official NJ TRANSIT Match-Day Identifier Wristband. Wristbands are match-day specific and must be worn at all times, including return service after the match. No Wristband, No Boarding.
  • Once cleared, enter PSNY to board a train to Secaucus Junction. Soccer-themed signage and TRANSIT staff will be there to help you.
  • At Secaucus Junction, all customers must transfer to the NYNJ Stadium service. Soccer-themed signage and NJ TRANSIT staff will be there to help.

Match-Day Post-Event Information

  • During the match, limited service will operate from NYNJ Stadium to Secaucus Junction for customers who chose to leave early before the match is ended.
  • At the conclusion of the match, departure service from the stadium will increase, operating on a frequent schedule for approximately three hours. Exact service times will be shared closer to the tournament.
  • After exiting the stadium, follow clearly-marked signage and designated pathways to the NJ TRANSIT loading area.
  • At the NJ TRANSIT loading area, customers may be directed to board either a train or a bus to Secaucus Junction. The NJ TRANSIT Match-Day Identifier Wristband is valid for travel on both modes, and travel time from the stadium to Secaucus Junction is approximately the same by train or bus.
  • To help manage crowd flow, fans are encouraged to enjoy on-site activities and entertainment after the match before departing.
  • As a reminder, please ensure to have your NJ TRANSIT Match-Day Identifier Wristband visible to access NJ TRANSIT return service. The NJ TRANSIT Match-Day Identifier Wristband is valid to travel on both NJ TRANSIT train or bus. No Wristband, No Boarding.
  • Once arrived at Secaucus Junction, follow “To NYC” signs, and NJ TRANSIT staff will be there to help you find your return train to PSNY.

From Hoboken Terminal to 
NYNJ Stadium

  • Service from Secaucus Junction and Hoboken Terminal to NYNJ Stadium begins a few hours before the scheduled match time. Exact service times will be shared closer to the tournament.
  • Trains on Main, Bergen, Pascack Valley, and Port Jervis Lines will bypass Secaucus Junction and operate to Hoboken Terminal, where customers can board direct service to NYNJ Stadium.
  • At Hoboken Terminal, match ticketholders must enter the designated queue for inspection of both their match and NJ TRANSIT tickets prior to boarding. Soccer-themed signage and TRANSIT staff will be there to help you locate the queue.
  • During ticket inspection, each match ticketholder will receive an official NJ TRANSIT Match-Day Identifier Wristband. Wristbands are match-day specific and must be worn at all times, including return service after the match. No Wristband, No Boarding.
  • Trains on the Raritan Valley Line can terminate at PSNY or Newark Penn Station (NPS). If your train is NY-bound, you can disembark at Secaucus Junction. If your train ends at NPS, transfer there to a NY-bound train that stops at Secaucus Junction. During Match-Days, access to Secaucus Junction is restricted to FIFA World Cup 26™ match ticketholders only.
  • At Secaucus Junction, match ticketholders must enter the designated queue for inspection of both their match and NJ TRANSIT tickets prior to boarding. Soccer-themed signage and TRANSIT staff will be there to help you locate the queue.
  • During ticket inspection, each match ticketholder will receive an official NJ TRANSIT Match-Day Identifier Wristband. Wristbands are match-day specific and must be worn at all times, including return service after the match. No Wristband, No Boarding.
  • Trains on the Morristown, Gladstone, and Montclair-Boonton Lines can terminate at Secaucus Junction or Hoboken Terminal. If your train is Hoboken-bound, you can board direct service to NYNJ Stadium from Hoboken Terminal. If your train is NY-bound, you can disembark at Secaucus Junction for connection to a stadium-bound service. During Match-Days, access to Secaucus Junction is restricted to FIFA World Cup 26™ match ticketholders only.

  • At Secaucus Junction, match ticketholders must enter the designated queue for inspection of both their match and NJ TRANSIT tickets prior to boarding. Soccer-themed signage and TRANSIT staff will be there to help you locate the queue.

  • Customers traveling to NYNJ Stadium via the Atlantic City Rail Line (ACRL) should be advised that service is limited and requires multiple transfers. Customers must transfer at Pennsauken Transit Center to 
NJ TRANSIT River Line light rail to Trenton Transit Center, then transfer again to Northeast Corridor service to Secaucus Junction to connect to stadium-bound service.
  • During Match-Days, access to Secaucus Junction is restricted to FIFA World Cup 26™ match ticketholders only.
